Family-Style User Accounts for Managing Multiple Volunteers & Participants

  • Volunteers can attend unlimited events. NOTE- all volunteers should indicate in the database which events they plan to attend!
  • Participants can apply to an unlimited amount of events. However, we have a priority system in place that generates a roster of accepted participants based on the amount of times a child has applied for, been accepted to, and attended events.
  • Capacity for all programs are limited for safety, so spots fill up fast. We recommend that you join our newsletter today so you will know when our registration links will be available.

Troubleshooting: Frequently Asked Questions

This issue can be caused by one of several things:

  1. Required fields are not complete, please check that all fields with a red asterisk (*) are filled in.
  2. When Registering a Volunteer: please ensure all security questions are “No” (if that is a true and honest response) because we don’t not allow volunteers with a “Yes” to apply
  3. Please ensure that all checkboxes are selected in the waiver after every paragraph of terms and conditions if you read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions
  4. Ensure that there is a signature underneath the waiver.

TIP: Sometimes erasing a mandatory field and your signature, and then re-entering the information and resigning will help trick the system into lighting the button up again

TIP: Open an “incognito” window in your browser, and try opening the application and filling out the application again. This ensures that you are not on an old cached version of the site that could have contained old bugs that were addressed have fixed.

Sometimes, we are in the middle of program development and do not have any programs available for registration. If we sent you an notification alerting you of live program registrations, please contact us after trying the following:

After you create your account, Friends Connect Foundation will send you an automated message confirming the creation of your account. If you are registering a volunteer or a participant under your account, you will also receive an automated message for every successfully created user. These automated messages will include a copy of the waiver, security questions (volunteers only), and an image attachment of your signature for your records.

Additionally, your new users should appear in the first table of the database titled “People in Your Family”

Next to every user associated with your account is the red, hyperlinked text “view or edit”. By clicking on this text, you are able to view and edit the information of every user.
